Can your app post photos for parents to see?
Yes, there will be a way to upload photos for parents to see on their screen when they login. I'm not sure if we want to send notifications to parents about new photos. We might add a way for them to turn those off and on.
Is there an additional price for Transparent Classroom?
Transparent Classroom is additional software that our Spark Studio is currently using (and paying for) and so I made a way for the app to show progress with that for now. My plan is to build the app so you won't need Transparent Classroom.
What work would I have to do on my end to get up and running? Is it time intensive?
My goal is to make this as easy as possible. I'm currently having our first group of beta testers send pictures and copies of their badge plans and tracking sheets so I can enter the data quickly. Eventually I'll have an onboarding screen that takes me out of the process.
Is there an option to try it for a week or two before deciding or do you need the commitment up front?
Hmm.. not yet, but that's not a bad idea. 🙂
What support is offered when we have a question or can't get something to work?
I'm available by phone, text and email and will usually respond as soon as I see the message.
You said this is a discounted rate, do you know what cost I could expect in future years?
My hope is that once we build in all the features that we can offer a basic version for those just getting started to keep the cost low and then provide upgrades as the school grows and wants more functionality.
Would we be able to use different words for "level" and other language we use in our school?
Yes. I want this tool to be seamless with how you run your school. The less confusion the better.
Would we be able to customize it to fit our badge plan, apps, etc that maybe different from yours?
Yes. We all have our own unique way of doing this thing called Acton and I want to make sure the app can adapt to each of our needs.
Is there any type of bulletin board or place to post challenges with links?
Yes, there will be a way to post whatever you need to on a bulletin board type page. Text, video, countdowns, forms.. It's gonna be fun. 🙂
Will you be adding the ability to track Eagle Bucks or points?
Yes, there will be a way to keep track of these.
